Ha ha! Well I would have to say no because if the scrunchies and barrettes came along with the uniform then there would be a much better chance that they might match the uniform. Did you notice the pink and red?
Oh yeah, we laughed about this same thing. Two things I noticed: All the gymnasts form Jersey and Long Island wore the ugliest hair accessories and the most make-up, and did you notice that all the Chinese gymnasts who looked 11 REALLY were 11 (you could tell by their Hello Kitty barrettes and kiddy clips)
oh my heck i was thinking the same thing watching those infants on china's team do the vault! there is NO WAY they are 16 and wearing 26 barrettes and blue eye shadow. hope you don't mind me peeking at your blog! it was fun to see you at play group too! hopefully i'll be back soon!
This makes me laugh! I watched those gymnasts march out and my first thought was, "Are they wearing scrunchies?" Times have changed girls! Come up with something else!
