No change but a fancy new crawl

We have been home from the hospital since Wednesday night, thank goodness. PMC's staff is incredible but there was no sleep for Joey or me. There hasn't been any improvement but no regression either. He has a good range of motion in both arms but maybe 10% of his normal strength in his left hand/arm and probably 50% in his right. When he crawls now he uses his right arm like normal but puts his left foot down and steps with it and scoots his right leg through. It isn't very efficient so he gets a bit frustrated but it is funny to watch. He will stop and look up at me and reach up with his right, telling me to pick him up because he doesn't like this snail's pace. I still think that his right leg is a little off, but no one is concerned. We just have to wait this out. I am going to make an appointment with physical therapy and hopefully have to cancel. But on the plus side, he is super funny and really happy. I had a hard time getting pics of him because he would stop and smile everytime I took one, but here is the general idea.

I do not usually respond to these blogs even though I follow them regularlly. I really just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. He is such a darling little one. I love the pics. Angel's mom.

Well, honestly. How could anyone think anything is wrong with such a stripey little smidge of cuteness? And when did he get his grown-up middle-aged man hair do? He aged 9 years since I say him two weeks ago!

Thanks Kath for thinking of us, it means a lot from you.
As for the hair - I have given Joey about 4 buzzes since his birth and Dave had me promise not to give him any more until he consented. Dave finally said it was time for his first cut (I guess he is ignoring those first 4). But he is a handsome middle-aged man. Joey, and Dave.

Thanks for the update, I can't believe how often I've been checking your blog this week! We have been worrying and praying for him. I hope you get to cancel his therapy appoitment! (by the way, Annabelle broke her arm today - insane! Well it is technically bent, I'll get around to posting tomorrow I think) Love you

Oh what a smiling little stripey angel. B and I are dying over how much he is looking like his namesake!!! Did you tape the hair over baby Joey's ears when you flobee'd it?

Lin is right about him being a cookie cutter of his name sake. And I'm not talking about waldo... Where is waldo by the way. His hair is getting so light and I love it. He is so sweet the way he smiles for all the pics. Way to train him well, so when I do his photo shoot, he will be just perfect. I love his side crab crawl...

Oh your gorgeous little boy.

I hope he is feeling better and back to normal soon. This must have been terrifying for you.
